      During the "World-wide Peregrinatio Mariae", arrived in Macedonia, we found many groups of ardent youth. It was then that the mind received this beautiful inspiration that we launched as a plan to effect.

WEEK    OF THE   YOUTH   "MarY   OF   Nazareth".

        It's a "Week" of the young people and  will have these principal characteristics:

        -    It will develop at the beginning of September, around the  Nativity of Mary  (8 September) and to the memory 

              of  Mary's name (12 September),

          -      in honor of the young Mary of Nazareth.

      -    It will be a kind of "Spiritual Olympiad" or "annual meeting of the juvenile art", because boys and girls                (under the 30 years) will be invited to compete with their best ideas and realizations in various spheres:

      *   of the  art ( painting, sculpture, music, song, dances, theater, poetry, novel, ecc..)

      *   of the  search ( studies in the various sciences...)

      *   of the  handicraft ( of various kinds...)

      *   of the  work (exchanges of knowledges, proposals...)

      *   of the  voluntary service ( assistance, charity, missions, testimonies,...)

      *    etc.

        God's word to know and live more and more every year in the Week of "Mary of Nazareth" will be that of St. Paul to the Filippesis:

               " Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." (Phil 4,8)

     *      A Committee of organizational coordination must be constituted by young peoples of groups engaged  in the Church or in the civil society.

         According to the extension that we wanted to give to the project, we can extend  this project until the "confinements" of the parishes or of the dioceses or af a different territtory.                 

     *      The same  Committee will have to discern for example, what is valid and what it can offer inside the 

"Week", without  nothing contradiction with Christian principles. Everything, infact, has to return to pure honor of the

  Immacolate Mary of Nazareth.

   *     Classification aren't created, neither  prizes are delivered. To everybody, on the contrary, is given the badge of annual  partecipation.

   *     The central moment, with the presence of the families, must be a celebration for the beginning of the 

  Marian YEAR OF THE TEEN-AGERS. 

              Then all the twelve year-old  boys will cheerfully be introduced in the Church  to Jesus and to His Mother.

              The teen-agers are exhoted to live a  special year, guided by their godfather: 

            a year of great care in the Holy Spirit, as same as Jesus, twelve year-old, teachs them with his stop in the   temple in Jerusalem (cfr. Lc 2, 41-52).

                  Besides all the girls  fourteen year-old will be called to live a specialverranno chiamate a vivere uno speciale

 Marian YEAR OF THE TEEN-AGERS

           in honor of Mary of Nazareth, while Herself, to the same age, receives the announcement of the angel and welcomes the vocation of God's Mother.

    *        The Committee of the Week of the Youth "Mary of Nazareth" will look after that all was mainly submitted to the  active share of the boys and girls first and true actors of the initiative. 

           The Committee will look after and establish the places, times,meetings,exchanges, discussions,standers,exposures,  realizations, ext. 

           The Committee  avoids  to enclude in the "Week" the tied up sector tightly to the sporting competitions (cfr 1 Tm 4,8), too used by other type of juvenile meetings.
