N.  2

Apostolic   groups

The initiative of the Apostolic groups (different from the initiative of the Apostolic Community of Evangelization of wich we will speak in the  Spiritual initiative N.3 ) has been put into effect and lived, with its complete program, many times,  in the city of Fermo with four distinguished Groups.

The iniziative has been offered, or sown, in more the earth's countries, during the “World-wide Perigrinatio Mariae”, even if we don't know how it has been welcomed or how has borne  its fruits elsewhere. God says “One sows and another reaps" (Jh.4,37). To us has been given the grace to sow, to praise of God and in honour of the Virgin Mother of God, Mary of Nazareth!

of the

APOSTOLIC GROUPS

1 - The  Apostolic Groups are spontaneous groups of twelve people (brothers and sisters) that have already received the effusion's prayer.

2 - They engage themselves to leave to be formed, as more close disciples, from Jesus for a three year-old special period to similarity of the Twelve Aposteles and they have the purpose of the evangelization.

3 - The members of the Apostolic Group make a promise with which declare to Jesus, in the hands of a priest, them shepherd to remain together for three years engaging themselves to a weekly meeting of the Apostolic Group and to the suitable bonds in this small statute.

4 - The pourpose of the Apostolic Group is double:
                                                              a) a greater personal formation
                                                              b) a strong care of evangelization.

5 - We have the  constitution of an Apostolic Group of evangelization,  when - reached the spontaneous aggregation of twelve people - one of them (=”Andrew”), for them charge, will ask and will get from a prist  (=”Joseph")  the care of the spiritual assistance of the group..

6 - The spiritual assistance of the priest will mainly consist in two cares:
a) To guide with a particular spiritual direction each of Twelve with a monthly personal talk. This particular spiritual direction, nevertheless, is only relative to the relationship of the single one with the rest of the group and to the management of the group in its "apostolic whole". The true spiritual direction (as it 's habitually meant) is released to the free and independent choice of each one.
b) To monthly celebrate the  Eucharist in the "Apostolic Group".. Then, it's good that single one goes to their guide another time in the month to receive his Benediction.
7 - The “Shepherd” (= ”Joseph" ) after a first or a second talk with all the single Twelve, asking in the prayer ligh to God, will give - only him! - the role of “Peter”, “James” and “Jhon”   to three of the group. They will form together the “Little Pastoral” of the Apostolic Group and they will be in stronger touch with the “Spiritual Guide”.

“Peter”: ( men  or women ) will be the responsable of the  group.. He will be the guide, (subordinate to the  “Spiritual Guide” ) and will give opportune teaching, for which he can also entrust others of the group.
“James”:( men or women) a deputy-person responsible with more organizational and practical assignments.
“Jhon”:( men or women) will be a person of strong  communion and apostolic zeal.

8 - The other nine components of the  Apostolic Group will receive, equally from the “Spiritual Guide”, during the preyer, with drawing, the name of the remaining  Holy Apostles. With this name, they will call among them in the group for the time of those three "apostolic" years.

9 - The Apostolic Group will be united from the Holy Spirit. During those three years  it will not be neither substitutions neither  addictions of nominatives, also when someone had to go away or to be detached himself.

10 - The  weekly meeting of the  Apostolic Group is of prayer and partly of  catechesis and sharing. The time is of few more than an hour.

11 - The  Twelve will engage themselves to frequent a second weekly meeting of prayer: they will continue to partecipate to the meeting of a group of the “Charismatic Renewal” and to its life. To it, they will try to take, with strong zeal, other new brothers and sisters, approaching them to God.
This is their choice (or their ministry),their particular direction of work in the evangelization,: to approach to God the distant ones, inviting them, first to the group of prayer of the “Charismatic Renewal”, and then, in the same“Charismatic Renewal”, to receive the effusion's prayer.
12 - To these new brothers, renewed from the effusion of the Holy Spirit,  will be proposed an invitation to form,at the same way, new Apostolic Groups.

13 - The Apostolic Group , among them, are autonomous,  also staying careful to the life of all the others.
14 - Every Apostolic Group will look for , through “Jhon”, the spiritual protection of a  “mother” (=”Mary”);  then, he will look for a community of enclosed nuns, if they are in that country, (otherwise also nuns of active life) asking them if they accept to sustain, through prayer and their ”Marian” care, - together virginal and maternal! - the life of the Twelve. And they will apply to Mary's prayer for help, in their spiritual necessities.

15 - Allowing to be guided by the Holy Spirit, the Twelve, during those three years, will try to develop the following essential program.

16 - First Year: The year of the meeting with Jesus.
       a) Knowledge and loving meditation of the four Gospels .
       b) Personal reading of all the “Catechism of the Catholic Churh”
       c) Liturgical care: the Apostolic Group will live together, more intensely, the preparation to the Christmas.

17 - Second Year: The year of the growth in Jesus.
       a) Knowledge and loving meditation of the Acts of the Apostles and some of the S. Paul's letters (pointed out by

           the spiritual guide ...)
       b) Personal reading of all the  documents of the Council.
       c) Liturgical care: the Apostolic Group will live together, more intensely, the preparation to the Holy Easter.

18 - Third year: The year of  the “mission”.
       a) Knowledge and loving meditation of an anthology's texts of the  Old Testament (suggested by the

           “Spiritual guide”).
       b) Personal reading of an important document of the Magisterium (suggested by the “Spiritual guide”).
       c) Liturgical care: the Apostolic Group will live together, more intensely, the  preparation to the Holy Whitsunday.
The spiritual guide or “Sheperd” (=”Joseph”), during his talk, will verify that the single one will

well develops their  annual program. As soon as, he will propose them the division of the formative material

(suitable above) to read, to meditate and to pray, first alone in their house and then to share together in the
weekly meeting of the Apostolic Group
19 - Every member of the Apostolic Group, during this three year-old spiritual walk,  will ask to God how best live their own vocation and the future mission in the service of the Church.

20 - At the end of the mission, with a “missionary” rite on the single one, the Apostolic Group will close itself.
Each one, according to the rediscovery of his specific call, continues to devote himself to Jesus, with maturity, in his Holy Church.

21 - If God called some people to another and more perfect community life, they answer with joy to the voice of the Holy Spirit. The wind of the Holy Spirit will take the single one and the groups where it wants , always on the wings of love.

       Amen. Alleluia!

22 -Holy Mary, Whitsunday's Virgin and the Star of the new evangelization, clasps the Twelve to her Hearth, under her mantle, and makes them grow in the fullness of the grace!

       Amen. Alleluia!
